If you have already misplaced your garden tools a few times this summer then it's time to do something to make them more visible. There is nothing worse than being on your knees in a garden bed and not being able to find your small hand spade….especially when you and it a few minutes before.

If you have a tin of old paint around, and it's a bright color, spend a few moments and paint a strip around the handle of your tools. They will show up easily amongst all the soil. If you are lucky enough to have a garden full of blooms then painting your tool handles in color will not help you find them if they are in the flower beds. While you are at it, why not give them a sharpen as well.

The best thing to do in this case is wear a small garden tool belt, or, carry your tools in a small bucket as you work your way around the garden. These simple tips will save you lots of time and frustration looking for your garden tools.
